


The area covered by the Amendments to the Detailed Regulation Plan for Blocks 15 and 16 is located between Mekenzijeva, Alekse Nenadovića, Njegoševa, Beogradska Streets and Slavija Square, within the Municipality of Vračar. The total area spans 3.16 hectares. According to the proposed planning solution, the area is divided into two zones: 1. New Development Zone – located along Mekenzijeva Street 2. Renovation Zone – comprising the remaining parts of the two blocks The new development zone includes currently undeveloped plots along Mekenzijeva Street, as well as parcels in the adjacent areas of Prote Mateje Street and Alekse Nenadovića Street. The planning solution has been developed in alignment with existing urban planning documents, respecting the established block layout. The plan envisions the construction of commercial facilities and a cultural institution within the new development zone. The exact location and method of reconstruction for the cultural monument Sala Mira (Hall of Peace)—a building of historical importance to Belgrade’s social and urban development—will be determined through a public architectural and urban planning competition.
