Urbanisticki centar Granted a “Category V” License for the Preparation of Planning Documents

Pursuant to Article 36, paragraph 1 of the Law on Planning and Construction (“Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia,” Nos. 72/09, 81/09, 64/10-US, 24/11, 121/12, 42/13-US,50/13-US, 98/13, 132/14, 145/14, 83/18, 31/19, 37/19, 9/20, 52/21, and 62/23),it is stipulated that:

Planning documents may be prepared by a public enterprise or another organization established by the Republic of Serbia, an autonomous province, or a local self-government unit for the purpose of performing spatial and urban planning activities, as well as other legal entities established in accordance with the law, which:

1.     employ or engage licensed spatial planners, licensed urban planners, or licensed architect–urban planners registered in the Register of Licensed Engineers, Architects, and Spatial Planners, in accordance with this law and related regulations;

2.     are registered in the Register of Legal Entities and Entrepreneurs authorized to perform spatial and urban planning activities, maintained by the ministry responsible for planning and construction, in accordance with the law.

According to the Rulebook on the Criteria for the Preparation of Spatial and Urban Planning Documents, Types of Licenses for Legal Entities, and the Procedure for Issuing and Revoking Licenses (“Official Gazette of the RS,” No. 37/24), the criteria for preparing planning documents, types of licenses for legal entities, and the procedures for issuing and revoking licenses are prescribed.

In accordance with the above regulations, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure issued Decision No. 001282800 2025 14810 006 000000 001, 20.03.2025 by which:

1.       “URBANISTICKI CENTAR DOO BEOGRAD“ meets the requirements for performing professional activities related to the preparation of spatial and urban planning documents;

2.       “URBANISTICKI CENTAR DOO BEOGRAD“ is entered into the Register of Legal Entities and Entrepreneurs authorized to prepare spatial and urban planning documents;

3.      “URBANISTICKI CENTAR DOO BEOGRAD“ is granted a “Category V” license, No. 008B03/25, for the preparation of detailed regulation plans and urban-technical documentation.
