The BuildUp 2024 Conference: “Housing Development – From Plan to Apartment” Powered by EuroDOM, was held on December 11 at the Belgrade Youth Center. For the past four years, this conference has brought together leading figures and key stakeholders from the fields of construction and architecture in Serbia and the region, while this year’s focus was placed on housing development. The conference was divided into three discussion panels. The first panel, titled “Do We Have a Plan?”, focused on urban planning and the expansion of Belgrade, with a particular emphasis on the legal framework and the impact of regulations on the residential environment. Panel participants included Marko Stojcic (Chief Urban Planner of Belgrade), Zaklina Gligorijevic (Kontura), Marija Maruna (Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade), and Andjelka Miloradovic (Urban Planning Center). The discussion was moderated by Milena Ivanovic from Bureau Cube Partners.
